March is Women’s History Month, and the Jason Lee library has some fantastic books to honor amazing women from U.S. and world history. For example, Fly Girls by P. O’Connell Pearson and A Thousand Sisters by Elizabeth Wein  are both about women pilots during World War II. Another is Claudette Colvin Twice Toward Justice by Phillip Hoose about a teen who refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus. This teen did this before Rosa Parks famously did the same. There are also books about Harriet Tubman, Amelia Earhart and Frida Kahlo. Plus, so many more!
