The Diversity Reading Challenge is a new addition to the Jason Lee Library program. The goal of the challenge is to recognize and celebrate the various groups that are part of our Jason Lee Community. Each month, students and staff will be encouraged to read a book related to the group being recognized during that month. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage month, our September challenge is to read a book related to Latino history, a book written by a Latino or Latina, or a book that has characters from that cultural background. Those who choose to participate will meet at the end of the month during lunch time for a book club where will talk about the books we read, enjoy a treat, and have an opportunity to win prizes.
